Hello again everyone!
The season has officially started and so far it is off to a decent start. The Amsoil Duluth National kicked it off Thanksgiving weekend. What a weird weekend that was. Cold, rain, and muddy can sum up that weekend. This was the first time on the sled for the season and it showed. With work and no time off, I was unable to head to the great north and do a few weekends of practice like I did last year. The track was crazy deep, wet and sticky. I got two 9th place finishes on Friday. Saturday it was pouring rain. I went out for morning practice and the sled cut out threw the rough whoops and a ski-doo smashed into the back of me. I sat out for the rest of the day as the sled was damaged and the pouring rain made for horrible conditions. With work on Monday morning I had to think of my safety so I can pay for this awesome sport we all love haha.
This past weekend was a huge weekend for the ISOC series. It was the 2nd stop on the tour and this was to Bessemer, MI at BlackJack Ski Resort. The track was sweet, HUGE chalet, excellent lodging and great night life just down the road. A perfect place for a national race. Friday started out as a ISOC MN regional event with Nationals on Saturday and Sunday. Me and John killed it!
Friday was a great day for MGR Motorsports. The Team Aftermarket, Curve industries, Steve's custom cycle Polaris RIPPED every holeshot of the day. In the first Heat I rocketed out from right away by 3/4 of a sled length, got to the first corner a little too hot and just pushed myself into the fluff and got passed by John on his MGR Motorsports, New London Small Engine repair Ski-doo to finish 2nd in heat #1, with John taking the heat win. In the second heat I ripped another holeshot of 1.5 sled lengths. I held the lead until the finish line of the first lap where a John's ski-doo charged so hard down the technical downhill section he swapped left and right so hard I thought he was going to come right into my side and take me out. He somehow saved it and I finished 2nd again to John. Going into the final I knew I had to beat this John and do everything I could to take the Final win. John knew he had to get his Team Aftermarket Ski-doo out of the hole first to have a chance at taking home #1. He ended up jumping the start, got the black flag and had to fall to the back of the field. I ended up running away with the race and taking first place and John taking the flag in 3rd.
John ran another class on Friday and did very well for himself. He qualified straight to the main and finished an impressive 7th place in the harder class of Sport #2.
Both of us ran the ISOC national Sport #1 on Saturday but struggled to make the LCQ and the final. I went 9-8 and John went 5-5. Both of us had to pack it up and call it a weekend.
It has been a great start to the season and the publicity MGR Motorsports has gotten so far has been great. I got my photo on the ISOC racing homepage and also our podium shot. Me and John were all over the internet live feed broadcast along with a lot of talk about us in the online chat section of the broadcast. Remember to follow us on facebook!!
Hello everyone!
Checking in to keep my peeps up to date. I have been busy the past 2 weekends racing the GNSS Regional series. The weather has been great for snow at the tracks. They have not been lacking. Currently we are in a Blizzard here in Wisconsin! That is pretty cool.

This weekend we are off to Plymouth, WI which you could say is my "hometown race" as it is only 20 minutes from me. This is always a big event as the USSA ice oval racing comes into town as well and it is a combined effort for the fans! The show goes all weekend between the 2 series. For race info visit http://www.plymouthsnowrangers.com/race.html
I want to shout out to my great sponsors, and I recommend everyone to check out what they are all about and see what they can do for you with your snowmobiling needs! My Curve Skis have been on rails and really making the Polaris carve the corners. My shocks done by Innovative suspension has kept me on the straight path to the finish line with an amazing handling sled. I also want to thank HMK, Stud Boy, and Powermadd for the continued support!
Good Morning World!
It is a fine Monday morning after the long holiday weekend. Everything is good here in the life of MGR. Things are picking up for the anticipation of racing once again. I myself had a get-off at the Irace in Ironwood, MI. Second lap of practice I hit the downhill jump a tad sideways and came up just a bit short and sent me sailing the res of the way down the mountain. Things could have been a lot worse. I came out of it with a concussion, bent steering post, broken center shock, and a dinged up corner of the tunnel. This was not the way I was hoping the weekend to go. I packed up and headed home in the Blizzard of 2010!!!
I would like to invite everyone to visit MGR's newest sponsor Steve's Custom Cycles. Steve's is a full service motorcycle, atv, and Snowmobile shop. They can get you hooked up with the years freshest gear and their shock service is by far professional grade. Steve's is the only choice for MGR. The things Steve's can do to your shocks is phenomenal. They do not just do the normal rebuild and revalve by the books. They go the extra mile to dyno your shocks and see if there is any improvements to be made over the manufactures recommended settings. Also Darren over there has contact with all the manufactures head guys. Darren has personally gotten in contact with the Polaris race department for the best set ups known. With his twist on these set-ups MGR's shocks will be better than factory Polaris racing! I am super excited to hit the snow with my Steve's Customs Walker Evans shocks.
SLED WRAP:
I am so glad that last year I got so many compliments on my sled wrap. This years wrap is not to disappoint. CURVE industries has once again blown me away with a design. CURVE wraps are a price leader in the industry and can be customized with your team logos and sponsor, numbers, colors. They have a ton of template designs on their website just waiting to match your sled. Head over to www.curvexs.com and shop their store. (Do not forget to pick up a set of ski's while you are at it).

Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone has had a great summer and welcome to fall! Man did the seasons change without any notice! I cannot wait for the first frost and the first flakes to start falling from the sky.
I would like to welcome new coming snocross racer John Herzfeldt to MGR. John and myself met in college 4 years ago. We have had some great times together and share almost the exact same interests. Last year I got John to purchase a 2004 SKi-Doo Rev 440x. He competed in the Novice class to see how he liked it. Instantly he fell in love and now knew the rush I felt every weekend in the winter. He no longer gave me a hard time about leaving campus to go racing. He was right there with me. There was no time like the present to bring him on board and venture to the races this season. John has retired the 2004 to his practice sled and will be aboard a 2010 Ski-Doo XP 600rs. Formerly a Goodwin Performance factory team sled he is bound to have great success aboard a machine that is proven and set up with some of the best parts to make it go fast... stupid fast!
As for myself I am still trying to find a Ski-Doo for this season. With Duluth about 2 months away it is getting to be crunch time! All lose ends need to be wrapped up soon.
I would also like to tell everyone about our newest sponsor. HCP Designs. HCP Designs is a premier custom helmet painting company. Owner Chad Harris is a expert in his field who works closely with his clients to ensure a unique design that people will know only HCP can do. For more info contact Chad himself at chad.harris@hcpdesigns.net
Thanks everyone for reading my novel and stay tuned for more updates coming soon!

Hello everyone!
It has been a while since I posted an update on here since the snocross season has ended. Here is a little info on what is going on in my life.
The motocross season is underway and it is going awesome. With all of us working full time jobs now, the practice time has been cut down but we are still out there every weekend putting in our laps and taking the checker flag.
Andrew has moved up to the B class and was doing great until an unfortunate mishap at Gravity Park USA. He went down on the technical double double step-up and broke a rare bone in his hand. He will be out for a good year! They will determine if he needs surgery in 3 months. If that is the case, it is a 6 month healing period and they still won't know when he can get on a bike. Lets all hope for the best!
As for myself, I was just selected to be part of the RIDE extreme sports team for Motocross. I got the call from Karter 2 nights ago, and it put me into a great mood. It is awesome to have some support from the best! I am excited to continue the season and look forward to every weekend.
Also Curve Industries along with G4 Graphics have stepped up for a off-season promotion with a decal kit for my Honda CRF250r. It should look very sick nasty! I will update with pictures ASAP.
Ok folks, until then KEEP IT CLASSY!
Hey everyone,
Another season has come and gone. It was an amazing season and I had some of the best times and met some great people along the way. Again it was another truly amazing season working with Sean and Nick at Curve. I feel blessed to have such a strong backing by them. I would also like to shout out to Jordan at G-4 Graphics and Sean and Nick hooking me that way to make a killer wrap and promote.
In my main GNSS racing series, I took 5th in Sport #1 and 2nd in Sport #2 for season ending. Yet these were great results, I still felt like I was a little short in Sport #1, my goal was to be top 3 in both classes. I still cannot be bummed about my season.
Last weekend I attended the ISOC National race in Lake Geneva, WI. The track was the best thing I have ever ridden on. Lap times were over 1 minute and the pace was FAST. On Friday it was well above 50*, near 60*. We had the sled jetted down to 320's and it still was not right. We just could not get it to run in summer like weather. On Saturday it was a different story. We woke up to 2" of fresh wet snow and it was a high of 40*. We went risky and decided to leave the 320's and just go out and giv'er. Needless to say the sled ran awesome (maybe a little to awesome, on the edge). I ended up getting a 5th and a 8th on my heats to just miss the LCQ for the main. There were near 70 sport riders all trying to make the 15 person final. It was a tough task to fill. Overall it was a great time and experience.
